Local Photographer Honored at Professional Photographers of Iowa Fall Print Competition

Katherine McClure of Katherine McClure Photography is First Place in the Master Woman category for PPI 2023.

Prairie City, IA November 5, 2023 — A photograph created by Katherine McClure of Katherine McClure Photography in Prairie City, IA has recently been awarded first place in the Professional Photographers of Iowa’s 2023 Fall Print Competition in the Master Woman category. The Master categories are reserved only for Master of Photography degrees recipients from Professional Photographers of America. McClure’s work, titles The Fading of Memory, was recognized with a Judge's Ribbon from Toni Harryman, as Best in Show. The art piece was created in response to famous painting by Salvador Dali, The Persistence of Memory.
