Raised to Fly

My family is spread out all over the place!

My parents used to joke that they raised us to fly… but then they realized we all flew away.

Their five children, since leaving the nest, have lived in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Colorado, Tennessee, Alabama, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, and Spain. Holy Smokes!

And while I’ve known about ‘stitch’ photographs for some time, I never really needed to create one. My clients typically just called me ecstatic that everyone would be home and it was FINALLY time.

But now it is harder and harder for many families to even plan another time together.

My family included.

So I have a new goal: images of my siblings to put together for a stitch of my own! (Even though I know this may take some time…)

For now, I am thankful for the opportunity to offer them to clients now. You may be apart because of COVID, or circumstance, or scheduling, but it is still possible to celebrate your family! (The final piece just might be delayed a bit as you enjoy the individual ones!)
