My Special Valentine

Have you met Vivian?

In real life?

To borrow the words of Lin-Manuel Miranda, "That girl is NON STOP!"

But in the image below?

I feel that time is frozen just for us. I see that she is both my little girl and I get a glimpse into the magnificent woman she will someday become.

I see her as a work of art. But I don't always remember she is...

Sometimes, she doesn't listen.

Sometimes, she disobeys.

Sometimes, she just doesn't do what I need her to do.

But then, she lights up when I come home.

She runs to greet me when she sees me outside.

She asks me to play with a level of enthusiasm I wish I could match.

She squeezes me like a daughter who just loves her mommy.

This is Vivian. My Special Valentine this year.
